Tradewind are looking to appoint a suitably qualified and talented Music teacher to join a community school based in the London Borough of Newham due to an unforeseen situation . This would be an immediate start for the right teacher. This is a great opportunity for a well-motivated and enthusiastic Teacher of Music to secure a new exciting opportunity.
Applications from NQTs with an appropriate academic background are welcome along with more experienced Teachers.

As a Music Teacher you will plan, resource and deliver lessons. You will create a pleasurable and stimulating learning environment for students, and fully implement routines and techniques for creating a culture of high expectations.

The role is full time starting on the 5th September and would be to teach both Key Stage 3 & 4. Key Stage 3, Students will work on composing, performing and listening skills & Key Stage 4 would be OCR GCSE Music: Composition, solo & group performance, evaluating and appraising.

Your challenge will be to inspire pupils to achieve at least expected progress and the majority to exceed that standard. We will look to you to support and encourage student participation in activities extending their educational experience outside the timetable too. Their curriculum is exciting and dynamic, with a broad curriculum in KS3 preparing the way for students to follow diverse interests and pathways in KS4.

The school is within walking distance to West Ham, Plaistow, Canning Town and Star Lane stations and is close to the dynamic London Docklands and Canary Wharf.
