Tradewind Recruitment require a Music Teacher to work in an Ofsted outstanding Birmingham secondary school ASAP and from January 2024.

Our client is a well established secondary school catering to the local community in Solihull. They have asked we source a candidate who has experience teaching music. The role is full-time, initially a temporary supply role with a view to go permanent. The candidate will need to be dynamic, motivated and able to give every one of their pupils the opportunity to explore, solve, create and achieve.

This vibrant Solihull secondary school is a successful place of learning which offers students and staff a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. You will be predominantly working with Key Stage 3 and 4 students and will potentially have the opportunity to lead a small team of Music teachers.

Salary expectations do depend on experience but will be between MPS1 - UPS3 to scale on supply from day 1.

To be successful for this role you will need to:

• Have experience working with students aged 11-16
• Have a PGCE or equivalent
• Have experience teaching Music to GCSE & A Level students
• Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional reference checks
• CVs must cover the last 10 years of employment history (where possible)
• Legal Right to work in the UK
