Nursery Teacher (EYFS), Manchester

On behalf of our client, we're seeking a full time Nursery class teacher to start in April 2020 at a wonderful Primary School in the Chorlton area of Manchester. This is a full-time maternity post which is expected to run until April 2021 and you will be responsible for a Nursery class within an Early Years department of a Primary school. This is an exciting role which comes with a competitive daily rate which will reflect your experience and suitability to the role.
This Ofsted rated 'Good' school currently operates as a one form entry school with average class sizes of around 30 pupils. This school is very popular within the local community with children within the same family attending the school for decades, because of this there is a real family feel to the school. The school is ideally located close to several major bus and tram routes and is just 4 miles from Manchester city centre. There is also a large staff car park.
As the schools Nursery Teacher, you will be working within a newly renovated foundation stage. The outdoor provision at this school is particularly impressive. The children have access to a number of outdoor play resources as well as a newly landscaped garden and wooded area. As the schools Nursery Teacher, your responsibilities will include but will not be limited to:
*Undertaking full teaching responsibility for a Nursery class of 30 children
*Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, attainment and progression of pupils
*Planning lessons that include both outdoor and indoor lessons
*Creating a classroom where children work in a purposeful and stimulating environment that supports a wide range of learning needs.
*Working alongside several Early Years support staff to ensure every child is engaged and safe.

Whilst working at this school, you will have full access to staff training and the support of a very experienced Headteacher and senior leadership team.
Essential requirements:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Either extensive experience or a recognised Early Years Qualification
*A proven track record within the Early Years and references to support this.
*The availability to start in April and the commitment for a full calendar Year.
