Tradewind St Albans are supporting a school in Hertford with their need for a full time Nursery Teacher to start this September for the full academic year.

The school is a beautiful 2 form entry forest school with plenty of outdoor green land for leaning and play. The school is very proud of its green stamp and have several vegetable patches, an environment friendly playground and 2 large outdoor sandpits for the early years. They encourage wherever possible outdoor creative learning as one of a few forest schools in the area. Classes are large and bright with all through set up for the early years. The Nursery has 2 provisions, one the morning and one in the afternoon with 26-30 students and a full time TA.

This role would suit and passionate Early Years Teacher ideally with experience working within a Nursery provision. An excellent team player and eagerness to inspire are essential.

This is a full time role covering both AM & PM provisions for the start of next academic year. The salary on offer is £24,737 - £35,971 p.a. pro rata.

Based in Hertford the school is quite rural and a car would be best and there is a large carpark on site however there is also a local bus stop 5 mins walk from the school should you require.

-PGCE with QTS ideally but not necessary or
-BA Education in Early Years or equivalent
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
