Are you passionate about early childhood education and nurturing young learners? We are recruiting for a dedicated Nursery Teaching Assistant to support in a vibrant school setting. This is an exciting opportunity to play a vital role in shaping the foundation of children's learning experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the nursery teacher in planning and delivering engaging and developmentally appropriate activities for children aged 3-4 years.
  • Support children's learning through play-based activities, both indoors and outdoors.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, parents/carers, and colleagues to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Promote children's social, emotional, and cognitive development through meaningful interactions and activities.
  • Assist with the daily routines of the nursery, including meal times, toileting, and nap times, ensuring the health and safety of all children.

Requirements:

  • A genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their holistic development.
  • Previous experience working with children in an early years setting is desirable but not essential.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with children, parents/carers, and colleagues
  • Hold NVQ level 3 or equivalent
  • A patient, nurturing, and empathetic approach to working with young children.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and contribute to a positive and harmonious working environment.
  • A commitment to promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion in all aspects of nursery life.
