The role is part time, Thursdays and Fridays working alongside another part-time teacher on a job share basis. This is a fixed term position for two terms through to the end of the academic year.

We are recruiting for a Yr5 Teacher on behalf of a large, popular and successful Catholic primary school in Rochdale. The school achieved an 'good' accreditation from Ofsted in 2017. Having worked with the school for several years, I am incredibly proud to be associated with them. The leadership team are dedicated and passionate but also humble. The Head has created a real family environment and staff all work together to achieve good outcomes for the children. The SLT are great to work alongside and although demanding, have a great sense of joy and humour in the work they do. About the role
This OFSTED 'outstanding' primary school (2017) are looking for an innovative and inspirational teacher to teach an Yr5 class from January. We are looking for someone who will apply an energetic and creative approach to teaching. This position is open to experienced teachers and NQT's.
This is a job share position, but you will be responsible and have full class room responsibility on Thursday and Friday. Communication skills will be key to ensure a good working relationship with the other teacher.
The school are looking for an individual who will look to heavily involve themselves in school life and in return you will be welcomed as one of the team, you will not be viewed as a 'supply teacher'. You will have access to all resources and equipment and will be entitled to the same rights as all other teachers, including 10% PPA time.
Ideally the school are looking for someone with a strong and successful background in Maths and someone who takes a keen interest in sport.
The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Headteacher and wider leadership team to develop outstanding teaching and learning, ensuring that attainment and achievement opportunities are maximised for all children. The school has a close-knit team of staff who all support and encourage each other, this is a school that has a pleasant working environment.
