We're on the lookout for a dynamic and ambitious Physics Teacher for a permanent position starting in September 2024 at a mixed non-faith school in Tower Hamlets. This school is committed to providing a curriculum that equips students with the qualifications they need to pursue their desired career paths.

The School, now in its fifth year and oversubscribed are searching for an exceptional Physics Teacher to join their team and contribute to the development of this unique and exciting school.

This role presents an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and passionate physics teacher to further enhance and deliver our knowledge-led curriculum. Aimed at providing students in one of the most deprived areas of the country with access to a stimulating and enriching academic education, we are preparing to introduce A-Level physics from September 2024. There is also an opportunity to teach electronics or astronomy to GCSE level.

Physics lies at the heart of the school's success, and they're seeking a talented individual who believes in the potential of all students to excel in the subject. The ideal candidate will uphold the highest standards of behaviour and academic discipline while fostering a culture of academic excellence. At our school, curriculum development prioritizes teaching the subject itself rather than teaching to the test.

As part of the team guiding their first cohort through A-Level Physics, this role offers an exciting opportunity for an ambitious and successful teacher to advance their career as the school grows. All applicants are welcome, but this position is particularly suited for ambitious graduates or early-career teachers seeking a challenging and rewarding role.

You will be expected to provide a well-planned, purposeful learning environment for students and promote and manage positive student behaviour and ensure high-quality Physics work is maintained across all pupil groups.
