Many of the students in the school will have a Social and Emotional Difficulty and ADHD. The school are looking for an individual who enjoys variety in their work life and thrives on team work. The school itself has some great transport links too.

The school concentrates on ensuring that the pupils all work to their own strengths and keep the classes small to a size of 10 pupils per class on an individual timetable and some classes are with 5 pupils with smaller adult to child ratio. The school offers a lot of support for pupils to help them transition back into a mainstream school.

The children supported at the school are the centre of everything that the school do and stand for. Given that some of the children have had a hard time growing up, the school provides them with extra care to ensure that they get the most out of their school lives. As a Mentor, the school would require you to have a very positive attitude and desire to improve the lives of those with an emotional difficulty. The Mentor would:

The Mentor we require should have:
*Experience working with pupils with special educational needs
*Team Teach Training is desired
*Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom
*Knowledge of teaching range Ks1 and Ks2.
*Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive
