Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a specialist Primary PE Teacher to join this great Academy based in Ealing for a January 2019 start. This is a full-time role is for a 1 year contract.

The Academy provides quality education for children of west London, and it has been graded as Good by Ofsted. The school has 12 classrooms and two large purpose built nurseries, one for 2 year olds and one for 3 year olds. There are also designated Music and Drama rooms and a Design Technology Suite. There is a well-equipped hall with a stage and a separate dining room, which provides healthy, freshly cooked meals each day.
Externally, there are two multi-purpose games areas and a large grassed sports pitch. The playgrounds and outside spaces are exciting places for pupils, incorporating a conservation area, outside story and play areas, allotments and a variety of play equipment.

They're proud of the school and this is reflected in the quality of the building, which is very well maintained and kept well by all staff and students. It is also reflected in the excellent behaviour of the pupils and the quality of work displayed in the classrooms and around the school, and the high academic standards that are achieved.

The staff members make every effort to ensure that the pupils work to the best of their ability, that they are polite and caring towards others, and that they feel good about themselves.

In addition to class teachers, they also provide specialist teaching in the following areas: Music, Art, PE and Modern Foreign Languages. This role is to fulfil the role of Primary PE Teacher.

We are looking for a:

-Primary PE Teacher who is a committed teacher with high expectations of pupils in their care.
-Highly motivated and driven Teacher who has PE experience at a Primary level
-Person with the ability to work in a team of support Teachers that will help in school in all areas when needed
-Primary PE Teacher who will have positive relationships with students, parents and colleagues

This is a role for teaching PE across all year groups. The Academy is looking for someone with a PE background or strong knowledge of delivering sport.

The school is accessible from the closest station by a 8-minute walk from the main line train that comes out of Paddington but also the tube and Overground. The school has a car park that serves on a first come basis. Cycle spaces available as well.

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
