This school in Enfield, North London, is currently recruiting for a qualified Year 1 teacher to join the team on a full time basis from September 2020.

The school is led by an experienced Headteacher and they were graded as "good" following their Ofsted inspection in 2018.
The school is modern, well-resourced and has recently gone through extensive building works, with bright and well designed classrooms. They have great indoor PE facilities and all-weather PE courts outside.

This is a three form entry school and you will be joining a very strong year group team who has been together for a few years. The teachers are very receptive to new ideas and initiatives, as well as happy to share tried and tested activities.
The school is a short walk from a rail station and also close to a tube station and can also be reached by bus.
The Headteacher is keen to recruit a full time Year 1 teacher to join the team from September, for at least 1 year. There may be the possibility of the role becoming permanent, following an initial period.

The Year 1 teacher must:
*Have full QTS (or equivalent teaching qualifications) and experience in a UK primary classroom
*Have taught in key stage 1
*Have a calm, engaging teaching style
*Have very good English as a few children in the class are new to English this year
*Work effectively as part of an established year group team
*There may be the opportunity for a TLR point for taking on a curriculum area and experience mentoring NQTs would be very welcomed
