** Year 2 teaching role ** Barking and Dagenham** ASAP start

This two-form Primary School is looking for cover for the term, which pay rates ranging between £150 - £180 per day, depending on experience.

This thriving state maintained Primary School in the borough of Barking and Dagenham, is a diverse; friendly and supportive community school where expectations are high and behaviour is excellent. Most of the staff are either embarking on their teaching careers or have a few years under their belt. This is an environment where the children take responsibility for their behaviour, are eager to learn and staff's well-being is prioritised.

As the successful Year 2 teacher, you will have proven record of raising standards for all pupils including underachieving children, experience of promoting positive behaviour conducive to learning, focused on raising standards. A passion for teaching and investing in the development of the profession.

This is a great role for an experienced teacher who wants to work with a lovely Year 2 class who will benefit from a nurturing, consistent and kind teacher.

The school is based in the vibrant London borough of Barking and Dagenham which is a multicultural and inclusive part of London. It is a short walk from the District line.

There is a small carpark for staff.

Job Requirements

Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
You must have the legal right to work in the UK
Experience of teaching across the key stages in the UK or abroad

To join us and be successful in this Year 2 Primary Teacher role you will need to:
