Tradewind Recruitment is pleased to represent our client, a mainstream primary school located in St. Helens, in their search for a Year 4 Teacher to cover a maternity leave starting in September. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced educator to join a vibrant and supportive school community.
Position: Year 4 Teacher (Maternity Cover)
Location: St. Helens Contract Type:
Temporary (Minimum of 6 months, possibly longer)
- Delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to Year 4 students, following the school's curriculum guidelines.
- Planning and implementing engaging lessons that cater to the needs of individual students and promote their academic and personal development.
- Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with colleagues to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Establishing effective communication channels with parents and guardians to keep them informed about their child's progress.
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
- Experience teaching Key Stage 2 (KS2), ideally within a primary school setting.
- Strong knowledge of the national curriculum and an ability to deliver engaging lessons in line with its requirements.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents.
- A proactive and flexible approach, with the ability to adapt to changing circumstances and maintain high standards in a maternity cover role.
