The school are looking for a dynamic and experienced Year 6 teacher who values every child and caters for their individual needs in a nurturing way; promotes co-operation and respect for each other; has the ability to deliver engaging, relevant and interesting Key Stage 2 lessons and equips all pupils with the skills necessary to promote independence, self-discipline and confidence.

As the successful Year 6 teacher, you will support the Catholic vision, values and aims of the school; have knowledge of and keep up to date with curriculum guidance for Key Stage 2, especially in the area of Key Stage 2 SATS and be familiar with the school's current systems and structures outlined in policy documents including Health and Safety and Child Protection policies.

The school is based in an affluent suburb of Waltham Forest with a village-y feel, close to Epping Forest and in easy distance of a High Street; restaurants and large shopping centre.
This leafy, East London suburb is easily accessible from the Central Line. It is also serviced by various bus routes and has a small school park for staff.

*Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
*Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
*Experience of teaching Year 6 in the UK or abroad
