Are you an exceptional Year 2 teacher looking to teach at an Outstanding school in Waltham Forest from April 2019?

This three-form all through school, is offering a temp to perm role for a Year 2 teacher with daily rates of between £150 -£190 depending on experience.

As an all through school, the children benefit from a seamless curriculum which can be tailored to the needs of each child, a smooth transition between primary and secondary and familiarity with staff. Long-term friendships are maintained and there is less disruption of moving schools.
The school serves a richly diverse area, with many ethnic groups and languages represented. They are very much a community school where children can feel safe, valued and happy.

The school was established in 1904 and the Primary school new build was completed in October 2018. The new build with its increased space; large windows has an Art/Technology Studio; a Drama Room and a new library.

To be considered for this great Year 2 teaching post you will need to:
Have working knowledge of the theory and practise of teaching Year 2
Have excellence practise in the classroom
Be enthusiastic and approachable
Have high expectations of children and their behaviour

The school is based in the East London Borough of Waltham Forest, which is a large and affordable part of London. It is a short walk from an over ground train station and is surrounded by multiple parks.

To join us and be successful in this Year 2 teaching role you will need to:

-Hold QTS status or equivalent teaching qualification
-Overseas Trained Teachers will be considered if you have a comparable qualification with a UK teaching qualification and you can comply with the other points
-This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
-Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
-You must have the legal right to work in the UK
-Recent teaching experience in Year 2 or Key Stage 1
