Tradewind are currently recruiting for a fantastic opportunity to work in a Year 4 class in a high performing school in Stockport. This is full-time class teacher post which will commence January 2021 and will run until at least the end of the academic year with the potential to be made permanent depending on your success in the role. About the role:
As the Year 4 Teacher, you will be responsible for the learning and progress of approximately 30 children within a high ability class who will benefit from being stretched academically to fulfil their potential. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of transitions through the primary phases and know how support pupils working in 'greater depth'.

As the Year 4 Class Teacher, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
*Planning engaging lessons in line with the National Curriculum attaining the highest expectations of teaching and learning
*Using a range of assessment strategies including verbal and written feedback to report on pupil progress and provide action points to consolidate or stretch learning
*Implementing creative teaching approaches that accommodate for audio, visual and kinaesthetic preferences using ICT where necessary to enhance learning opportunities
*Tracking pupil progress and analysing data to inform future planning as well as monitor children's social and emotional wellbeing
*Working well as part of a team sharing knowledge, resources and advice in relation to your own expertise area
*Contributing to the wider life of the school and attending local events in the community.

You must:
*Have QTS Certification
*Have experience teaching in a KS2 setting (year 4 - desirable)
*Be able to demonstrate success in KS2 with references to support your previous experience
*Be subject to an enhanced DBS check and an overseas police check (if applicable)
*Have a right to work in the UK
