This 2-form entry school in Sale, Trafford are looking for an exceptional Year 5 teacher to help them maintain a high quality of learning and progress in one of their Year 5 classes. The Maternity cover role commences January 2021 and lasts until December 2021. The role is paid at an above market rate. As for the location, there is great access to public transport and the school has its own car park.

As a school communication and strong relationships are paramount to the pupils academic and social success. Staff work in partnership with children and parents to ensure every child achieves the best possible outcomes. Teachers have an open-door policy to ensure families' feedback, concerns and ideas are heard. Pupils within the school are encouraged to be kind and courteous to the people around them. They are also given access to a broad curriculum that encourages and excites them into building a love for learning.

As one of the Year 5 teachers you will be required to establish strong relationships with families and regularly communicate with families about the wellbeing, behaviour and progress of their child. You will also be required to:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Become a role model of resilience and perseverance for your class
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.
*Partake in wider school commitments and activities

*Qualified Teacher Status
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
