Tradewind are recruiting on behalf of a Lovely Trafford school in Altringham, who are looking for a Year 5 class teacher who can engage and enthuse their pupils to build a love for learning. The role is to cover a member of staff who is going on maternity leave commencing 4th January 2021. Until the end of the academic year, potentially longer. The successful teacher will be paid at an above market rate, based on your experience and skillset.

The schools' curriculum is designed to give their pupils every possible opportunity to build core skills, learn about the wider world and support them to achieve their full potential. The staff team are committed to ensuring each child is given every opportunity to succeed, they do this through excellent teamwork and great relationships with parents/carers. The school are actively engaged in the wider community and act as a central hub of support for the pupils and families.

As the Year 5 teacher you will be required to build a caring environment in which children are encouraged to express their opinions and emotions, while also being challenged to achieve the possible outcomes they can. You will also be responsible for:
*Assessing, tracking, and reporting on the pupil's attainment and personal development
*Establishing positive and supportive relationships with parents and carers
*Build a learning environment where pupil enjoy coming to school
*Set high expectations for pupil behaviour.
*Provide a caring and supportive learning environment based on mutual respect.

We are looking for applicants who have:
*Qualified Teacher Status
*Excellent organisational skills
*A commitment to child development and learning
*Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*The right to work in the U.K
