Pupil Support Worker, Blackpool

A SEMH School in Blackpool is seeking a full-time Pupil Support Worker within the to join their dedicated team and make a positive impact on the lives of pupils.

As a Pupil Support Worker, you will play an important role in providing emotional, behavioural, and academic support to pupils, helping them to overcome challenges and achieve their full potential. Your duties may include mentoring, one-to-one support, and working with teachers and other staff to develop and implement individual support plans.

This is a full-time position, working 5 days a week from 8.30am to 3.30pm, with an attractive hourly rate of £12.89 - £14.89 per hour.

The ideal candidate will have experience working with children for 4 - 11 year olds who have SEMH needs, as well as a strong understanding of child development and behaviour management. You will also need to be a compassionate and patient individual, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
