Are you an RE Teacher interested in joining one of the top schools in the count? Are you looking for a permanent role for September?
Tradewind St Albans continues to partner with this leading academic schools to recruit a Religious Education Teacher. This is a permanent contract starting in September 2024 and interviewing at the earliest convenient opportunity. The position is full-time and entails full teaching responsibilities, with a daily salary ranging from MPS 1 - UPS3. Applications are welcome from all experience levels, including ECTs, and interviews will be held over the upcoming term.

The majority of the timetable will involve teaching across key stages 3 and 4, with KS5 available depending on experience.

To be considered for this excellent RE Teaching position in St Albans or others across Hertfordshire we require you to:
  • Have experience or recent qualifications in teaching Religious Education or Religious Studies
  • An Enhanced DBS Disclosure / Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable)
  • Professional reference checks
  • A CV that covers the last ten years of your work history, any relevant qualifications and training, and your contact details
  • A teaching qualification, such as a PGCE, QTS, or equivalent, and a degree in a relevant subject
  • A passion for teaching Religious Education and a desire to inspire pupils to achieve their best
  • A commitment to creating a positive learning environment
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
