School Receptionist

Fantastic and friendly Primary School is currently seeking a dedicated and highly organised individual to fill the position of School Receptionist. This role involves overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy school office and playing a crucial role as the welcoming face to parents, children, governors, staff, and visitors.

Hours: 08:15 - 4:15

Pay: £90 to £100 per day

Key Responsibilities:

• Manages the front-line Reception service, ensuring a warm and welcoming environment.
• Answers and directs phone calls, responds to inquiries, and manages correspondence for effective communication.
• Schedules appointments, maintains calendars, and coordinates meetings, showcasing strong organisational skills.
• Handles general office duties, including managing and maintaining office supplies and equipment.
• Ensures the reception area is tidy and welcoming, creating a positive first impression for visitors.

Qualifications:

• Possesses essential qualities of honesty, integrity, and confidentiality.
• Demonstrates strong administrative experience, preferably in a school setting.
• Exhibits a 'can-do' attitude, a strong work ethic, and excellent interpersonal skills.
• Capable of working under pressure and handling interruptions calmly and methodically.
• Willingness to undergo training as required.
• Demonstrates the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
