Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by an 11 to 16 secondary school in the district of Braintree to assist them in finding a qualified Science Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The successful teacher will be expected to teach the KS3 and KS4 Science curriculum for the Spring term at least. Following a successful assignment, the role could be extended or made permanent. The school are interested in experienced Science teachers and those who are newly qualified, specialists in Chemistry, Biology or Physics can be considered.

This Ofsted rated 'Good' school has consistently progressed in recent years. Pupils behaviour is good, they respond promptly to instructions and work well together. There is a calm environment throughout the school with teachers modelling high expectations. Activities are always interesting and teachers use a variety of effective techniques to help students develop their understanding.

The successful Science Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills
A positive and personable role model for their class

Need to hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
