We're seeking a Science Teacher, who is able to teach to KS5. This position is to start after the February half term until July 2020. Our school is an oversubscribed, popular school in Wirral which has been rated "good" by Ofsted.

The school has up to date facilities and a fantastic support network in place, with an inspirational Senior Leadership Team. The role will be a full-time position and has the potential to go permanent for the right candidate. This school also has an onsite car park and is also easily accessible by public transport.

The responsibilities of this Science Teacher role will include:
- Undertaking full class teaching responsibility for Science up to KS5
- Assessing, recording and reporting on the development, progress and attainment of pupils,
as well as on their personal and social needs
- Marking work, giving appropriate feedback and preparing students for exams in line with
GCSE and A Level requirements

The ideal candidate for this Science Teacher role will:
- Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Be an outstanding teacher with excellent recent curriculum subject knowledge
- Be a committed professional with a determination to make a difference
- Be an organised, enthusiastic proactive person
- Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service, or be willing to apply for a new one (with
costs refunded after 20 completed days of work)
