Tradewind Recruitment are working with an Ofsted rated Good Secondary School in Harrow who are seeking to appoint a Science Teaching Assistant from September 2020. This is a full-time position that will be offered on a long-term basis, running through until the end of the academic year.

As a Science Teaching Assistant, you will be supporting students in KS3 and KS4 within the Science department who have mild special educational needs, or who are facing other barriers to their learning. Working closely with individual students, you will ensure they are engaging in their lessons, and deliver any differentiated lesson plans. You will also be responsible for planning, preparing and delivering individual and small group interventions.

To be successful in this Science Teaching Assistant role, you will be a recent or soon-to-be Science Graduate who is interested in exploring a career in education. You will be a confident, inspiring individual who can build strong, successful relationships with students and staff alike. Experience working with young people such as tutoring, or volunteering will be advantageous but is not essential as all training will be provided.

This school is well serviced by the London Underground, and local buses, and is easily accessible from all areas of North, West and Central London.
