Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in Altrincham, Trafford to start ASAP until the Summer 2020. This is a full-time, long-term role with a salary of £70 per day.

To join us and be successful in this Teaching Assistant role, you will need to:

* Hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant Qualification
* Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
* Provide a CV with at least 10 years employment/education history included and employment breaks must be explained
* Have the legal right to work in the UK

About the school

We are recruiting for an SEN Teaching Assistant on behalf of a one form entry Primary School in Altrincham, Trafford. This school strives to ensure that everyone in their school is safe, happy and healthy. They want every child to achieve their potential, develops their skills and deepens their knowledge and understanding of the world.

Pupils behave extremely well in lessons and around the school. They are confident and independent and are respectful towards each other and adults. Pupils who have special education needs and those supported by extra funding make good progress because of the high-quality support they receive.

About the role

This primary school is looking for a Teaching Assistant to work within their KS1 department. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and a good knowledge of supporting students with additional needs. You must be a committed practitioner who will want to attain the highest standards in teaching and learning throughout the role.

The role itself will involve supporting a child within KS1 who has Global Development Delay. The student requires support with all aspects of school life, and has learning and physical needs. The school have asked for somebody with prior experience supporting children 1:1 and children who require help with accessing the National Curriculum. You will be required to work 8.30am to 3.30pm Monday to Friday.
