The alternative provision school in Barking & Dagenham, North East London are looking for a compassionate, keen and caring individual to join the team to support 6 pupils with autism. Your day as an SEN Teacher will depend entirely on how you support the children and work with a lovely team of support staff. There really are no limits to the interests, passions, hobbies and activities that the students we support enjoy.

The SEN Teacher we require should have:

· To become an SEN Teacher, you will need to be positive and enjoy having a laugh

· You will be supporting students in Small Groups with a lot of support from other Teaching Assistants

· All of the classes will also have qualified support workers working with you

· The Alternative Provision school is in Barking & Dagenham, North East London and has great transport links

The pupils you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community - including swimming, for example. Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the students you will be supporting is a key factor. QTS or Equivalent (QTLS)
