About the Role: As an SEN Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing and inclusive learning environment for children with SEN. Your dedication and compassion will help students overcome challenges and achieve their full potential.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with SEN.
  • Build strong relationships with students, fostering trust and confidence.
  • Assist teachers in planning and delivering tailored lessons.
  • Monitor and record student progress and behaviour.
  • Prepare and adapt learning resources.
  • Facilitate effective communication between students, teachers, and parents.
  • Create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
  • Assist with classroom management and behaviour strategies.

What We're Looking For: While previous experience within a classroom setting is advantageous, it's not essential. What truly matters is your passion for working with children and your commitment to their well-being and development.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children (e.g., babysitting, mentoring, coaching).
  • Patience, empathy, and a caring nature.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic educational setting.
