To start immediately, this role involves supported students with a range of cognitive, physical and medical needs. Students are aged 3 to 17 years old. The Teaching Assistant will:
*Work 1:1 or in a classroom
*Support students to develop the skills needed to move into adult life with confidence
*Teach vital independence skills such as travel, cooking and community links
*Understand each student and their disability, and support students to cope with emotional stresses that arise from this
*Empower students to take responsibility and manage their disability
*Support students to develop communication skills and healthy living choices
