A wonderful primary school in Wood Green, Haringey who would like to appoint an SEN teaching assistant to support a small number of pupils in the reception class who have language and learning difficulties. The role will involve 1-1 support and lots of small group work that will focus on communication skills. The school are keen to appoint a teaching assistant with a confident, assertive and nurturing approach.

The school is looking for an SEN TA who:

*Has experience supporting children in a childcare or educational setting
*Ideally you will have a good knowledge of the early years foundation stage, although this is not essential- Personality, enthusiasm, and ambition are key!
*Shows an interest in SEN
*Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
*Experience with Phonics is a bonus!!

The person

This SEN TA role requires someone who:

*Has previous experience in schools or nurseries or SEN schools
*Is confident interacting and engaging with children
*Degree educated
*Will demonstrate a commitment to the school and would like to progress in the school
