Are you a Teaching Assistant with SEN experience looking for an opportunity in Wigan?

Tradewind is working with a 'Good' Wigan Primary school to support pupils within EYFS who have additional learning needs. We are seeking to recruit an experienced Level 2 or 3 SEN Teaching Assistant to undertake a full-time role. This position is to start in October and is a temporary role until July 2020 initially with a view to extending dependant on funding.

This role is within a one-form entry primary school, this schools ambition is to build the confidence, resilience and drive that helps children grow into happy, successful, and passionate. The school is passionate in providing a broad and balanced creative curriculum. The school is seeking a hardworking and motivated Teaching Assistant to join their team of committed and experienced professionals. The ideal candidate for this role has a Level 2 or 3 Qualification who has had a minimum of 12 months supporting pupils with SEN and within EYFS.

The successful candidate will be required to support the class teacher with planning for activities and lesson's and liaise with the SENDCO when appropriate. In addition, you may be required to provide 1:1 support for individual pupils. You must also have an enthusiastic and positive approach to teaching and learning, as well as the ability to quickly build up strong relationships and rapport with individual children is important.

The School is in Wigan and is easily accessible via public transport and is close to motorway links.

*Hold a Level 2 or L3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent qualification
*This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
*Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained
*You must have the legal right to work in the UK
