Tradewind Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Teaching Assistant to support an Autistic Year 3 pupil. The pupil is generally well behaved but struggles with his concentration over a period, so the ideal candidate will need to be flexible, adaptable and have behaviour management experience.

This is a lovely, supportive York primary school, rated as 'Good' by Ofsted. Because of its location the successful candidate will need their own transport but there is ample parking on site. This is a full-time postition, 5 days a week and you will hand over to another support worker for the afternoon sessions some of the days, so this position will suit candidates looking for a post which will fit with other commitments while enhancing their SEN experience.

The school is looking for someone who:
*Is a talented and inspiring individual who is dedicated and committed
*Has at least one year of experience of working with children who have special educational needs, particularly with challenging behavioural needs
