Tradewind Recruitment is currently recruiting on behalf of a two-form entry Primary School in the heart of Stockport, Greater Manchester to start in September 2020 on an ongoing basis. This is a full-time role with a salary of £65 per day.

About the school

We are recruiting for an SEND Teaching Assistant on behalf of a vibrant school which is located in a state of the art building in the heart of Stockport.

Children at this school get off to a flying start in Early Years and pupils progress across the school has improved strongly. Because of this, attainment is rising throughout the school, including for disadvantaged pupils. Pupils with SEND are extremely well supported and make good progress from their starting points.

The school is based in Stockport and is accessible via car or public transport.

About the role

This OFSTED 'Good' primary school is looking for an SEND Teaching Assistant to work within one of their Reception classes. The successful candidate must have excellent behaviour management and experience of working with children with additional needs.

The role itself will involve supporting a child within Reception who has ADHD and is working below the National Average. The successful Teaching Assistant will be required to meet the child's emotional needs as well as help them to progress with their learning within both Maths and Literacy. The school are looking for somebody who has the ability to be innovative and engaging, ensuring that the children have fun whilst making progress.
