Are you a dedicated and compassionate Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant (SEND TA) with a passion for making a difference in the lives of pupils with autism? Tradewind Recruitment is currently seeking a qualified individual to join a dynamic team at a school in Workington.

As a SEND TA, you will play a crucial role in providing support to pupils with autism, helping create a positive and inclusive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working with students who have special educational needs, particularly in the context of autism.

Responsibilities:

• Provide one-on-one and group support to pupils with autism
• Assist in implementing individualised education plans (IEPs)
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment
• Collaborate with teachers and other professionals to create an inclusive educational experience

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant, specifically with pupils with autism
• Relevant qualifications in education or special educational needs
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to the unique needs of each student

Working Hours:

8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday

Daily Rate of Pay:

£76.89 - £82.21 (dependent on experience and qualifications)
