Are you an SEND Specialist, committed to providing support to pupils with additional needs? We are searching for a patient, empathetic and knowledgeable Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a child who has SEND requirements.
Tradewind are recruiting for an SEMH Teaching Assistant to work in a mainstream Primary school in Reddish. The position is full-time and will last until the end of the Academic Year. You would be working 1:1 with a student in EYFS, building a relationship within the classroom to ensure they are on-track and supported with their learning. Tradewind offer above-market rates of pay, with the daily rate in the region of £76 - £85 per day.
Your duties might include:
- Supporting and managing a pupil with SEND needs, usually on a 1:1 basis
- Taking responsibility for the safeguarding of the young people in your care
- Supporting the school team to provide a stimulating, safe and nurturing environment for students to learn

To be successful in the role of SEN Teaching Assistant, you will:
- Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks
- Have a thorough understanding of supporting pupils with SEND
- Provide a CV with employment/education history included. Employment breaks must be explained
- Have the legal right to work in the UK.
