Tradewind Recruiting are working with a Special Needs School in Waltham Forest, East London who are seeking a Primary Teacher to join their happy and supportive team on a long-term basis from September 2019.

It is key for the role that you are positive and enjoy having a laugh. The individuals you will be supporting are an active bunch and enjoy various leisure and activities in the community - including swimming, for example.

Please ensure you can commit to this role, as reliability for the individuals you will be supporting is a key factor. They require stability and need support in accessing activities to allow them to achieve their full potential.

Your main responsibilities will be to make the day-to-day decisions easier for the people children and teach them to get the most out of life as possible. As a Special Needs Teacher, all you will need to have is a positive attitude and a desire to improve the lives of those with a learning disability.

The successful Teacher would:
*Work with pupils who have autism and complex learning difficulties
*Helping all students enjoy their learning and get as much out of life as they can
*Identify challenges and ensure that the pupils learn
*Support pupils with communication skills
*Help pupils develop their communication and life skills

The Teacher we require should have:
*Experience working within Primary
*Experience in using behaviour techniques within a classroom
*Must be Caring, Adaptable and highly intuitive

Experience in Special Needs is not required, as training, support and professional development is offered. You will simply need to be reliable, dedicated and have a positive attitude.
