Tradewind is currently recruiting a Learning Support Assistant to work one-to-one with children with SEN and disabilities in a Runcorn Primary School to make sure that they can get the most out of classroom life.

The Runcorn Primary School requires a Learning Support Assistant to commence work ASAP until July 2024 on a full-time basis.

A good Learning Support Assistant gives the teacher the confidence to teach the class as a whole, safe in the knowledge that the children who need a helping hand are receiving individuated attention.

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be supporting children with their academic studies, as well as supporting them personally and socially. Your role will be to make these children more independent and acquire them with skills to build upon their personal and academic development. You may be supporting these children in Maths, English, History, Music or socially.

This is a greatly fulfilling position where you're given the chance to enhance the prospects of children who might otherwise struggle with mainstream learning.

In order to be considered for this role, you will need:

• Experience supporting children / young adults with additional needs
• Hold an enhanced DBS check on the update service, or be prepared to undertake a new disclosure (cost of DBS is refunded after working 20 days)
• Have a full, 10-year career history and be able to provide a minimum of 2 references
• Have the legal right to work in the UK
