Tradewind Recruitment are currently looking for a Specialist Teacher who will based within a school in South Liverpool.

This school is situated in a leafy area of South Liverpool, educating children from EYFS up to KS5. All children have an Autism diagnosis. The school takes pride in having a huge focus on Autism Education research and development.

We are looking for a teacher who is primary trained to work with a key stage 2 class. You will have one TA, a HLTA and a 1:1 TA to support you.The role is initially for 12 weeks however the school will consider offering a further fixed term contract.

The school are looking for a FQT or NQT for this position, who has experience teaching whole classes with an autism diagnosis or classes with very high rations of autism. They are looking for well developed strategies to engage children and although your teaching assistants are experienced and know the children very well, we are looking for a confident teacher who can lead adults well.

We are looking for:
* Primary Trained Teacher with QTS
* Previous experience with challenging behaviours
* Calm but positive personality
* Level headed
* Skills to empower young people to make them believe they can achieve
* Excellent listening skills
* Previous teaching experience around Autism is essential
