Tradewind is currently looking for a hardworking and organised Speech & Language Therapist to work in a provision for SEN pupils with Speech and Language Learning Difficulties. The role will require you to work with KS1 to KS4 students and to start ASAP. This is a full-time role to work until the end of the academic year with the potential for the role to continue into the new academic year as well.

Tradewind Recruitment is very proud to be working in collaboration with a mixed SEN school in the Sutton area in order to find a full-time Speech and Language Therapist to work onsite with their students. Your role will be to help identify and assess student needs on an individualised basis. You will be seen as the school's leading expert in this area and you will observe and carry out necessary interventions in order to assist students in their progression, both socially and academically. You will liaise on a daily basis with the school's Special Educational Needs team as well as with the school's senior leadership team. You will also provide an essential link between the school and outside agencies.
The role will involve the following duties:
· Building excellent relationships with colleagues, students and families in order to achieve superb outcomes
· Directing teaching and support staff in developing best practice for supporting students on your register
· Planning and delivering outstanding programmes for student improvement
· Delivering relevant training across the school to teaching staff, support staff and senior leadership team
· Forming part of a multi-disciplinary team to support learners in accessing curriculum across the school
· Correctly identifying needs and communicating promptly to all relevant parties
We are looking for a candidate who has:
· Degree or equivalent in Speech and Language Therapy
· Registration with UK HCPC
· Directly relevant experience with young people, from 4 years old through to 19
· A commitment to outstanding practice
· A genuine desire to get the very best for young people in your care
