*This is a popular school with parents and students, oversubscribed yearly due to the excellent education and great behaviour of the pupils. The school offers a holistic education that supports students in all areas of their life to ensure they are ready for the challenges of further education or the world of work.
*The Religious Studies department is part of the Social Science faculty and there are currently 7 teachers covering Religious Studies, Psychology, Sociology, Citizenship and PSHE.
*The School is looking to appoint a Subject Leader of Religious Studies who leads by example through excellent teaching. The ability to teach inspirational and engaging lessons where the outcome is progression is essential.
*The ability to develop and lead staff is also essential. Staff in the department are at varied stages of their career so the incoming Subject Leader will need to be confident that they can support staff with any level of experience.
