Job Description: We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Part-Time Primary Supply Teacher to join our team. This role offers flexibility and the opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic school environment. Whether you're an experienced educator seeking part-time work or an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking to gain valuable classroom experience, we welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about education and making a positive impact on young lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and meaningful lessons across various primary year groups and subjects in the absence of regular classroom teachers.
  • Maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and supported in their learning journey.
  • Follow and implement lesson plans provided by regular classroom teachers, ensuring continuity and progress in learning.
  • Adapt teaching strategies and resources to meet the individual needs and abilities of students in the classroom.
  • Foster positive relationships with students, colleagues, and school staff to promote a collaborative and supportive school culture.
  • Uphold the school's policies and procedures while maintaining professionalism and integrity in all interactions.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Experience working with primary-aged students, either as a supply teacher or in a regular teaching capacity.
  • Strong classroom management skills and the ability to adapt quickly to different teaching environments and student needs.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills.
  • Flexibility and reliability to work on a part-time basis as required by the school.
  • Valid DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) clearance or willingness to undergo a check prior to employment.
