Tradewind are looking for a candidate who can offer Biology as a main specialism. The successful candidate will teach across the full range of ability, including GCSE and A Level. You will join a dedicated and well-resourced department and take an active part in the whole school community. You will receive excellent support for your own professional development.
This role will involve teaching Key Stage 3 General Science and Biology to Key Stage 4 & 5 with the support of the Head of Science. You will participate in the planning, development and implementation of the schemes of work. You will make a positive contribution to the development of the schemes of the work of the department. You will help in the organisation and running extracurricular actives. As always you will adhere to the school's discipline systems and also be responsible for the marking and assessment of work along with departmental policies.
You may also have the opportunity to be a form tutor and carry out the related duties in accordance with the general job description of a Form Tutor.
