Are you a reliable and dedicated teacher of Economics seeking work from Easter?

Tradewind Recruitment have been asked by an 11 to 19 secondary school in West Essex to assist them in finding a qualified Economics Teacher to join their hard-working team of staff. The successful teacher will be expected to teach the A Level Economics curriculum, the school can consider applications for those seeking work on a full or part time basis. Situated on the Central line with parking available, the school is accessible by car and public transport.

This Ofsted rated 'Outstanding' school has consistently progressed in recent years. Pupils' behaviour is excellent, they respond promptly to instructions and work well together. There is a calm environment throughout the school with teachers modelling high expectations. The curriculum and activities are engaging and varied. Teachers are encouraged to use a range of effective techniques to help students develop their understanding and enjoy learning.

The successful Economics Teacher will be:
Familiar and confident with the planning and delivery of lessons in line with the National Curriculum.
A committed and reliable teacher dedicated to the role.
Consistently motivated to deliver engaging lessons.
An excellent communicator with outstanding interpersonal skills.
A positive and personable role model for their class.

Need to hold QTS or a recognised equivalent teaching qualification.
Hold a degree in Economics or closely related subject.
Three reasonable A Level results, preferably in Economics/Business Studies/Mathematics.
Be subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional reference checks.
Cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and any employment breaks must be explained.
Have the legal right to work in the UK.
