Teacher of Music
Temporary - 1 year contract

They are seeking a highly motivated, committed musician who is passionate about instilling a love for music across the whole school community. There are currently approximately 1700 pupils with a growing and vibrant 6th Form of approximately 430. Examination results are consistently outstanding and the school remains heavily oversubscribed every year.
Music is a popular choice at GCSE and numbers for the BTEC Level 3 Extended Certificate scheduled to replace A level in September are also very healthy. There are many extracurricular opportunities, including a range of concerts in their own Performance Hall, musical theatre productions, participation in competitions at regional and national level and their very own annual Music festival.

It has strong and successful exam results, as well as having a full extra-curricular programme with orchestra, rock band, choir and other activities.
