SEND Teaching Assistants
Tradewind is currently seeking SEND Teaching Assistants to join our team at a SEND school in Runcorn. The role involves working with children diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD).
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide support to students with special educational needs and disabilities (SEND) in the classroom environment.
- Assist the teacher in implementing individualised learning plans and behaviour management strategies.
- Foster a supportive and inclusive learning environment for all students.
- Collaborate with fellow staff members to ensure the overall well-being and development of students.
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and behaviour.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working with children with ASD and ADHD.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to remain calm and patient in challenging situations.
- Adaptability to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Passion for supporting the educational and social development of children with SEND.
