Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant with experience of supporting English and Maths at Key Stage 2.

Tradewind are working with a school in the Chesterfield seeking to employ 3 booster Teaching Assistants as soon as lockdown finishes.

You will be working with either Key Stage 2 or Key Stage 1 students helping them prepare for assessments, which may take the form of an examination or be teacher assessed coursework, or a mixture of the two.

If working with Year 6 you will also be involved in managing the Year 6 transition in secondary school, both academically and pastorally.

If working with Key Stage 1 students you will be supporting English, Phonics and Mathematics.

The successful candidate will be teaching children with an EHP particularly those with ASD so prior experience of supporting SEN would be beneficial for this role. You should also have a good understanding of the current English and Maths curriculum.

This role will involve working closely with class teachers to plan an engaging sessions which will either undertook directly with children in school or delivered via zoom to children working from home until school re-opens fully.
