Tradewind Recruitment is working with an inclusive, supportive and busy Secondary School in Hillingdon who are seeking a recent English Graduate to join their team as a Teaching Assistant. This is a full time, long term position that will commence in January 2021 and run until the end of the academic year in July. Whilst some experience working with young people is preferred, this experience is not essential.

The Role - Teaching Assistant - Hillingdon, West London
*Working as part of the Teaching and Learning team, you will provide support to students across the curriculum in Key Stages 3 and 4. You will support individual students with mild SEN and other barriers to the learning, ensuring they are on track to achieving their academic, social and emotional goals.
*You will also be assigned a form group that you will provide pastoral support to, building positive relationships with students to ensure they are equipped with the tools they need to succeed within their GCSE and then A Level studies
*The successful Teaching Assistant will work under the guidance of the English Directors, where you will receive guidance and training within the English Department. Whilst you will be working across all subjects in the curriculum, you will be the English specialist within the Teaching and Learning Team.
*This school provides a foundation on which the successful Teaching Assistant will build their Teaching, support and intervention skills. This is an excellent opportunity for an aspiring Teacher to commence their career in education.
