My client who is based in Leicester city centre, is recruiting for a 1-1 teaching assistant to work with a child with challenging behaviour. The needs are centred around ASD and SEMH.
This is an opportunity to work in an 'Outstanding Ofsted' rated school.
Pay rate - £65.00-£80.00 per day, depending on experience
The ideal candidate will be:
* Level 3 qualified
* Experience of working with children with challenging behaviour
* Experienced supporting school pupils or young people
* Knowledgeable about supporting vulnerable pupils with autism and SEMH
* Available ASAP with a DBS on the update service or willing to complete one
* Able to commit long term to the school and pupils for continuity
* Team Teach/MAPA trained
* Counselling/Psychology background a bonus
* Experience of working with challenging behaviour
* Nurturing and caring
