Teaching Assistant

Tradewind Recruitment are looking for a Teaching Assistant to work in a friendly primary school in Oldham.

This is an exciting opportunity that is due to start in March 2021. They are seeking an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work on a 1:1 basis with a pupil in a Year 3 class. The role is a full-time position from 8.30am-3.30pm each day, Monday to Friday. The salary will range from £14,507 - £16,800.

The school is a dynamic primary school based in Oldham. The school is based in a residential area and plays a key role in the local community. They have a friendly team of staff an a highly support SLT. The school offers fantastic CPD opportunities and room for progression.

The primary Teaching Assistant will be required to work on a full-time basis from 8.30am-3.30pm each day. The role will involve working within a Year 3 class with a pupil of a 1:1 basis. The pupil is Autistic, and there is an element of behaviour management required within the role. There may also be some whole class support required for the position, assisting the class teacher with teaching and learning across the KS2 curriculum.

Essential requirements:

Teaching Assistant experience, KS2 experience desirable, DBS check
