At Tradewind in Bristol, we are looking to recruit SEN TAs with experience of working with pupils with BESD and Autism for our schools near Street (Somerset). Our clients are established schools within easy reach of public transport and cater for students in Primary, Secondary and Post-16 phases. The successful candidates will have experience supporting young people with BESD/Autism to work as a Teaching Assistant.

Salary will depend on experience and qualifications.

Jobs are starting next term with potential of becoming permanent for the right calibre of candidates.

The schools have got great reputation and offers great training and development opportunities for all their staff in regards to behaviour management and teaching. The experience of managing challenging behaviour and training in SEN is a must due to the nature of the SEN of student.

Must have:

-Experience of working with young people with Autism or Behavioural issues.

Highly Desirable:

-Special Educational Needs Experience in a care/school/PRU setting
-Understanding and experience of supporting/teaching young people with emotional and Behavioural Difficulties
-Training in behaviour management and Team teach
