Teaching Assistant

Key Stage 2 Teaching Assistant required to support Year 5 and 6 - Watford, Hertfordshire - £70 to £80 per day based on experience - Open to TA's with Level 2 or 3 or Graduates - ASAP start till end of academic year

Are you looking for a class-based Teaching Assistant role in a lovely Primary School located in Watford, Hertfordshire? Would you be keen to support Primary aged students at the top end of Key Stage 2 who will be taking or preparing for SATs exams?

Located in the popular town of Watford on the boarder of London and Hertfordshire, this lovely two form entry Primary School is looking to appoint either an experienced TA with a Level 2 or 3 TA qualification or be a recent graduate.

As a Teaching Assistant in upper Key Stage 2 you will be working with Year 5 and 6 students who will be preparing for this years or next year's SAT's results. These are important exams that set where the student will start at Secondary school and the support they will be given so it is essential that students achieve so they can continue to be extended in their education. The role will require one to one and small group work across a range of classes.

The key requirements for this role are:
*Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Graduate with an honours degree
*Strong academic background with the ability to support students in Maths & English
*Experience of working with young people and the confidence to help them progress
*A warm personality who understands how to break down concepts for students
*Passion for education and learning

This role is a long-term post starting ASAP or in the New Year through to the end of the academic year in July. Due to the ongoing pandemic it is essential you can commit to this time so please only apply for this post if you are able to meet this requirement!
