TEACHING ASSISTANT NEEDED

Are you looking for a part time job as Level 2 or level 3 Teaching Assistant in Nottinghamshire?
This role is a great stepping stone to gaining more experience working in a primary school environment, but also more experience in working with children to support them in a classroom.
This role requires someone who has experience with Special Needs as this is a two to one role. The role is mornings only , and the needs of the children are support, nurturing and encouraging . A knowledge of Makaton and some signing is preferred as one of the students is non-verbal.
The role of a Teaching Assistant requires that you support the pupils and work closely alongside the classroom teacher with planning, assessments and the children's' progress.
You will be required to work in small groups as well as work 1:1 with children with the children who have SEN.
*Our clients are specifically look for someone who has worked in a similar role i.e. primary teaching assistant.
*A Committed Teaching Assistant in Nottinghamshire who has the want to attain the highest standards in teaching and who can motivate and support children.
*A Driven and empathetic person who can adapt and can support the teacher and the class to encourage learning.
To join us and be successful in these teaching assistant roles, you will need to:
*Minimum Level 2 or above in childcare/teaching and learning.
OR
*ideally to have had some previous experience of working as a teaching assistant with experience of working 1:1 with children with special needs or behaviour difficulties.
*Right to work in the UK.
*Enhanced DBS on the update service or willing to process one.
